Fresh Evaluation Consulting is a team of two public health professionals, Shelby Hillis and Danielle Labonté.
The partners both hold a Master of Public Health specializing in health promotion from the
University of Alberta and are registered dietitians.
Fresh Evaluation Consulting has over nine years of collective experience working with not-for-profit organizations, grassroots community organizations, provincial and municipal government agencies, and academic institutions.

Our Team
Shelby Hillis, MPH, RD

Co-Founder & Principal Consultant
Shelby graduated with her Bachelor in Science in Human Nutrition and Integrated Dietetic Internship with Honours from St. Francis Xavier University. Shortly after, she attended the University of Alberta to complete her Master's in Public Health (MPH) with a specialization in health promotion while working as a Clinical Dietitian for Alberta Health Services. After completing her MPH, she worked in academia, government, and the non-profit sector developing her skills in project management, research, stakeholder engagement, and policy development. Currently, Shelby is working in the field of Public Health Nutrition.
Danielle Labonté, MPH, MAN, RD

Co-Founder & Principal Consultant
Danielle graduated with her Bachelor of Applied Science in Food and Nutrition from Ryerson University. She then went on to complete a Master of Applied Nutrition (MAN) at the University of Guelph with an integrated dietetic internship, leading her to become a registered dietitian. Danielle has worked at a public health unit in Eastern Ontario for the past five years as a public health nutritionist, supporting the community in program planning and evaluation, policy development, and stakeholder engagement. While working in public health, Danielle also graduated with a Master of Public Health (MPH) specializing in health promotion from the University of Alberta.
